Q’s moment of contemplation… we really should have taken NFS! I could brush up and beat Matt when we get back! Damn!

The Captivating Journey

Q and I went to Grahamstown on the weekend of the 22nd for a journalism conference. Our journey was everything but smooth. On our way to the airport, our car broke down and we missed our flight! But thankful we were able to catch a later flight with the help of Frieda (Thanks!). So here we are stuck at the airport for five hours, with very little to do and Q just keeps saying we should have brought NFS! I mean seriously. I think we should have taken the Sims. Finally we get on the plane and arrive in Port Elizabeth, like yay! I should have held off on the yay. Our ride to Grahamstown, was a no show, so here we are again at the airport for another two hours. Q and I even had a song to keep us going ( I love my chick!)… okay we finally get to Grahamstown and nothing I mean nothing is halal. So we are starving, cause I didn’t want to eat without Q. finally some really nice chic gives us  some apples, yes we did not digest out insides.

The conference itself was very enjoyable, I was at the mothership of student media (aaaaah). We had a lot fun and met really great people. I went clubbing and some strange guy kept staring at my top. Q was afraid to use the bathroom because the shower was attacking her. Some food outlet said they were halal cause they served pork! Then there were the look a likes.

The journey home was quite enjoyable, until we broke down again. And Q had to break her fast with Doritos (the cheesy one). But we managed to get ourselves home in tact…. OH we had a lot of 13s and triples 6s on this journey so we think something is up! We just want to say. Dude! Leave us alone you psycho!

Me….

Q do you think if I smile at them a lot the issue of our incomplete website won’t come up…. Hey are you using my perfume as airfreshner? Dude, that is not cool… oh spray me a little I want to smell really nice.

Conference people…. Peter Barlow and other Activate (Rhodes University newspaper) members.

What is she doing… she is taking a picture. No, yes, no, yes… damn, that was not my good side!
