In a bid to maintain the status of being one of the leading law schools in South Africa, the UKZN School of Law has invested R350 000.00 towards the refurbishment and upgrading of the facilities in the Centre in order to create a welcoming and supportive environment for law postgraduate students to conduct their legal research and writing.

The centre was officially opened by the Judge of the High Court, the Honourable Madam Justice Pillay who applauded the Colleges initiative to enhancing the quality of its postgraduate students.

The Dean and Head of the School of Law Professor Managay Reddi together with other law academics took students on a tour of the newly refurbished centre.

It is envisaged that this will create a great learning experience for students and enable UKZN to become an institution of choice for students.

Through this and other initiatives The School of Law is looking forward to an improvement in postgraduate enrolments next year.
