Welcome to the home page of the School of Economics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban.

Economics can currently be studied on all three campuses of the University of  KwaZulu-Natal .  On the Howard College Campus, the School of Economics is  housed in the Shepstone Building, Level 8.

The School offers courses in the theory and practice of Economics and reflects a diversity of specialisations including: trade and industry; environmental and natural resource economics; labour and household survey data analysis; transport economics; macroeconomic policy and conflict resolution.

The School teaches approximately 4 000 undergraduates and over 100 postgraduate students.
