8th Poetry Africa Festival 18-23 October 2004
International Festival of Poets

Poetry Africa 2004

This 6 day international poetry festival featured over 30 participants representing 12 countries.
Activities included theatre performances and presentations, poetry seminars and workshops, poetry competitions, performance opportunities for aspirant poets, poetry in prison, wide-reaching schools visits and book launches.

Ticket prices for evening presentations at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre and Bat Centre were R20 for adults and R10 for students/pensioners. There was no charge for workshops and seminars.
