Directions to the Centre for Creative Arts (CCA)

From inner city Durban (+- 15-20 minutes; 30 minutes at rushhour):

Option 1.) Exit town on either Monty Naicker (Pine) or Dr AB Xuma (Commercial) Street. Take Berea Road/N3 highway towards Pietermaritzburg. As you approach the Toll Gate bridge, keep left and take the South Ridge Road exit. At the traffic lights, turn left into South Ridge Road . Keep on South Ridge Road (becomes King George V Avenue) for approximately 2km until you see the University of KwaZulu-Natal main gate entrance in front of you. On your right +-30m before the main boom gate is a triple story pale yellow house with a large camphor tree in front. This is the CCA: to enter press the buzzer next to the big green gate. Parking available inside the gate.

Option 2.) Exit town along Margaret Mncadi Avenue (Victoria Embankment), past the bay. Keep right towards Berea and continue straight up to the top of Che Guevara ( Moore ) Road (+- 4 km). Turn left into South Ridge Road . Keep on South Ridge Road (becomes King George V Avenue) for approximately 2km until you see the University of KwaZulu-Natal main gate entrance in front of you. On your right +-30m before the main boom gate is a triple story pale yellow house with a large camphor tree in front. This is the CCA: to enter press the buzzer next to the big green gate. From airport (+-20 minutes; 30 minutes at rushhour):

Take Southern Freeway towards city. As you approach the city, passing Huletts Sugar terminals (on your right) turn left onto Che Guevara ( Moore ) Road. Continue straight up to the top of Che Guevara ( Moore ) Road (+- 4 km). Turn left into South Ridge Road . Keep on South Ridge Road (becomes King George V Avenue) for approximately 2km until you see the University of KwaZulu-Natal main gate entrance in front of you. On your right +-30m before the main boom gate is a triple story pale yellow house with a large camphor tree in front. This is the CCA: to enter press the buzzer next to the big green gate.
